The City of Boulder, CO retained CDR Maguire to provide FEMA Public Assistance Grant Management for DR-4145 (September 2013 Flood). CDR Maguire augmented the City’s staff and contributed with the necessary expertise to maneuver through various disaster recovery programs administered by the state and federal agencies. Over 58 Project Worksheets (PWs) were submitted by the City as a result of our efforts, for a total damage estimate of $19 Million.

In addition to incorporating staff augmentation, CDR Maguire contributed with technical guidance for site visits, construction plans, determining eligible costs, and capturing mitigation opportunities throughout the City’s projects. The mitigation work conducted on behalf of the city, undoubtedly maximized the City’s recovery while building a more resilient future.

Working jointly with the State and FEMA, CDR Maguire verified and uploaded all project documentation into the CO.EM Grants portal to speed up the obligation process.
