SERVICES

The State of Florida was severely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic with several counties seeing some of the most numerous cases in the nation.  With concerns regarding hospital and ICU bed capacity, the State created a system of temporary infectious disease field hospitals to handle any potential surge.

CDR Maguire, Inc. provided hospital management and oversight for four (4) of the infectious disease field hospitals and participated in planning for an additional five (5) that were never opened. Within four (4) days of engagement, CDR helped open, supply, and staff 500 beds at two (2) hospitals and an additional 700 beds a week later at two (2) additional hospitals, increasing the bed capacity in South Florida by 1,200 beds in under eleven (11) days.
