SERVICES
CDR Maguire is currently supporting the state of Oregon in the recovery from the 2020 wildfires which encompasses over 1.2 million acres of land, more than 3,000 lots cleared, and $700 million of disaster recovery costs. We are assisting ODOT leadership as they have not had a federally declared disaster since 1997 navigate FEMA’s new PA Model utilizing the Grants Portal for the first time. Monitoring services and contract compliance resulted in average cost of debris removal per homesite of $63,000.
HIGHLIGHTS:
Our team of disaster recovery managers and specialists are currently assisting ODOT with:
- 471,920 cubic yards of metals, concrete, burned debris and ash, contaminated soil, household hazardous waste
- 120,500 hazardous trees assessments
- 24,604 merchantable logs (to-date)
- 90,751 cubic yards of slash
- 26,069 cubic yards asbestos
- 6,540 burned vehicles
- Validating debris monitoring supporting documentation for FEMA reimbursement
- Identifying damages, including establishing a Damage Inventory, uploading documentation, answering Essential Elements of Information, and providing project estimations to strategically formulate small and large projects.
