Mr. Jared George has managed disaster recovery projects since 2006, totaling approximately $2 billion, funded by HUD CDBG-DR, FEMA, FHWA, and NRCS in the states of Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, New York, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, and Texas. His most recent experience included serving as CDBG-DR Program Manager of the Rental Properties Program and Affordable Rental Opportunity Program for the State of New York from 2016-2018 and the CDBG-DR Project Manager for the Homeowner Opportunity Program (HOP) for the State of Texas through the Texas General Land Office from 2012-2016.

Prior to his work in the private sector, Mr. George served as the Assistant Bureau Chief of Finance and Accounting for the Florida Department of Agriculture overseeing general funds, payroll and grant accounting, as well as the Florida Governor’s Office of Policy and Budget, and House and Senate Appropriations Staff to ensure the State recovered disaster-related costs incurred while responding to and recovering from the 2004 and 2005 hurricane seasons.
