CDR Maguire was retained by the City of Rowlett, Texas to provide FEMA Public Assistance Grant Management and Debris Technical Assistance after an EF-4 Tornado struck Rowlett on December 26, 2015. CDR Maguire provided City personnel with the tools needed to navigate through disaster recovery programs administered by state and federal agencies.
CDR Maguire provided expertise in debris management. Our team assisted the City in applying for the Public Assistance Alternate Procedures (PAAP) program which allowed the City to maximize their recovery for debris removal.
CDR Maguire was also contracted by the City to assist in the FEMA Public Assistance process. CDR Maguire worked with the City to provide the appropriate documentation for the Project Worksheets to maximize their federal reimbursement. CDR Maguire wrote all the small projects for the City and facilitated the writing of all the FEMA categories of work. We were instrumental in the formulation of all the projects including the Donated Resource PW which allowed the City to get 100% of their emergency work reimbursed by FEMA.
CDR Maguire continues to support the City and has now transitioned into writing Requests for Reimbursements (RFR’s). By working closely with the State of Texas to ensure timely repayment of all eligible cost. We will continue to support the City in their recovery efforts by writing versions and assisting them through the Closeout process.
