SERVICES

CDR Maguire was hired by Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) to provide monitor waterway debris operations along the St. Johns River and tributaries within St. Johns, Clay and Putnam Counties.  This project consisted of managing various debris removing barges spread throughout the river. More than 20,000 Cubic yards (CY) were withdrawn from the waterway, eliminating safety hazards to the citizens that use the river because it is a bass fishing haven.

In addition to providing monitoring support, CDR Maguire provided project and grant management services. In this capacity, CDR Maguire assisted by creating a SharePoint site so that all the key stakeholders involved could have access to the documentation of activities for the multiple contractors along the St. Johns.  This feature allowed FDEP to receive real-time information and daily reports from all the contractors involved with the project.  By aggregating all the information in one spot, CDR Maguire was able to streamline processes including the PW formulation process.  Our team is currently assisting in completing Natural Resource Conservation Services (NRCS) grant applications for FDEP to act as the local sponsor for local communities.
